Normally one would stroll through the Christmas market this time of year and find herself gazing at all the gorgeous Christmas decorations in the Käthe Wohlfahrt shop. One would allow herself one ornament as every year. But no... not this year. Luckily there's the catalogue, which arrived already in September. This fact lead to a conversation with the sister-in-law. The one in England.
"I got my catalogue today..."
"Oooo, is it amazing?"
"It is!!! I found something you could do yourself... I'll order these (felt animals) from you then." *WINK*
"There's a challenge! Leave it with me."
"I love the reindeer with the Christmas lights." *WINK*

Time goes by. One forgets the catalogue. The felt animals. The reindeer. The conversation.
.........
Then. 78 days later. A parcel!
A speechless moment of happiness. Gratefulness. Unbelief. Shame. Tears of joy. Declaration of love.
"OMG!!! I LOVE YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!
"Oh I'm glad he's finally arrived! Thank you, I learned a new craft and really enjoyed making it!"
"Always happy to help." *WINK*

She was not supposed to thank me. But she did. Because... I helped her bring joy to someone (aka me). I helped her learn something new. I helped her enjoy. And that kind of makes me the world's best sister-in-law, doesn't it?

The catalogue animal doesn't even look like a poro. It looks like a bunny. My wife makes better poro. ;-)

I thought the one in the catalogue looked like a llama. And just because I'm older (i.e. wiser) I get to decide who's the best sis-in-law and I vote for the one making the best poros!
